A good place to start

Good stories start with care.

A friendly voice and careful reporting belong together. Here is what readers can expect from Daily Pet Mag.

Sources you can follow

Articles link to the research, official announcements and public guidance behind them. We prioritise primary sources and distinguish the date of an event or study from our own publication date. We do not claim interviews, expert review or reporting we have not carried out.

Research in proportion

A small study is a small study. An association is not proof of a cause. We aim to describe what researchers measured, what they found and what the results cannot establish. Headlines should reflect those limits.

Care without diagnosis

Our coverage offers general information. It does not replace a veterinarian’s examination or individual advice. Changes in an animal’s health or behaviour deserve professional attention; news about a study is not a treatment plan.

Rules with a location and a date

Pet travel, housing and welfare requirements vary. Our policy stories specify the jurisdiction and the relevant dates, and link to official guidance so readers can check the current position.

Transparent use of AI

The launch edition was researched, drafted and source-checked using AI tools. This is not a claim of independent veterinary review. Cover images are AI-generated editorial illustrations, not photographs of the people, animals or events in the news. The image credit on every article makes that distinction explicit.

Commercial independence

The launch edition contains no sponsored stories, paid placements or affiliate links. If we introduce any, they will be clearly labelled.

Corrections

Substantive corrections will be identified on the article with an updated date and a note explaining the change. Our source lists make it possible to compare a story with the underlying material.
